Privacy

Privacy Policy.

We collect the least information we can, we tell you exactly what we do with it, and we delete it when you ask. This page explains how, in plain language.

01 / Who we are

The short version.

Space Tech Explorers runs space education programmes for young learners. This policy covers the information you send us through the forms on this website. We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or any third-party tracking on this site. If you never submit a form, we never collect anything about you.

The organisation responsible for your information is SpaceTechExplorers.com, California, United States. For any privacy question or request, write to contact@spacetechexplorers.com.

02 / What we collect

Only what the form asks for.

We collect information when you choose to submit one of our forms. We do not buy information about you, and we do not collect it from anywhere else.

Space Academy and Mini Satellite interest forms
Parent or guardian name, email address, phone number, timezone, and preferred contact method. These forms are for adults. We do not ask for a student's name, age, date of birth, or photograph.
General inquiry form
Your name, email address, and optionally your phone number and a description of your question.
Partner form
Your name, learning centre name, address, email address, and phone number, submitted in a business capacity.
Careers form
Your name, college, specialisation, email address, phone number, location, and the background description you write.
Every form
The date and time you submitted it, and a record of the consent you gave, including the version of this policy in force at the time.

Free-text boxes are yours to fill in as you like, so please do not type information you would rather we did not hold — particularly details about a child. We only need enough to reply to you.

03 / Why we collect it

To answer you, and nothing else.

We use what you send us to reply to your enquiry, to give you details about the programme you asked about, and to arrange enrolment if you go ahead. That is the whole purpose.

We do not sell your information, rent it, trade it, or share it for anyone else's advertising. We do not add you to unrelated marketing.

04 / Children's privacy

For parents and guardians.

This is the section we most want you to read.

Our programmes are for young learners, but our forms are written for adults. Our enrolment and interest forms ask for a parent or guardian's details, and they are labelled that way. We ask that a parent or guardian, not a child, submits them.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not ask children for their name, age, address, phone number, photograph, or any persistent identifier through this website.

If we ever need information about a student in order to run a programme, we will ask the parent or guardian for it directly, we will ask for the minimum we can work with, and we will tell you at the time what it is for.

If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please write to contact@spacetechexplorers.com and we will delete it promptly. As a parent or guardian, you can at any time:

  • ask to see what information we hold that relates to your child;
  • ask us to correct it;
  • ask us to delete it; and
  • tell us to stop collecting or using it, without that affecting your child's place in a programme they have already joined.

We will not require a child to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary to take part in an activity.

05 / How long we keep it

Not indefinitely.

We keep a form submission for three years from the date you send it, and then delete it. If you register for a programme, that three years runs from the date you registered. Deletion happens on a scheduled basis, not on request only.

If you ask us to delete your information sooner, we will do so, unless we are required to keep a specific record by law — in which case we will tell you what we are keeping and why.

06 / Who else sees it

A short list of service providers.

Your information is stored in our own database and is seen by the Space Tech Explorers staff who need it to reply to you. We rely on a small number of service providers who process information on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes:

Neon
Database hosting, where submissions are stored.
Vercel
Website and form hosting.
Resend
Carries the notification email that tells our team you have written to us. It is delivered to contact@spacetechexplorers.com.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it. We will not do so quietly where we are free to tell you.

07 / Your rights

Ask, and we will act.

Whoever you are, you can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Write to contact@spacetechexplorers.com and we will respond within 15 days.

Depending on where you live you may have further rights under laws such as the CCPA or the GDPR, including the right to complain to a data protection authority. We honour these requests regardless of where you are.

08 / Security

How we protect it.

Submissions travel over an encrypted connection and are stored in an access-controlled database. Access is limited to the staff who need it. No system is perfect, and we will not claim otherwise — but we do not keep what we do not need, which is the most reliable protection there is.

09 / Changes

If this policy changes.

If we make a material change to how we handle your information, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Where the change affects information we have already collected from you, we will contact you and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent again.

Questions about any of this are welcome at contact@spacetechexplorers.com.
